This objective will vary greatly for each Quest team. Regardless of the whether your created a prototype, performance, event, product, or provided a service, you will need to schedule a time to present your project to both your Quest class and to one other Quest class. Your presentations need to be scheduled during weekly Friday Quest meetings and have prior approval from both Quest coaches.
Presentations will be graded using THIS rubric. Teams are responsible for printing the rubric for Quest coaches. Teams will be evaluated by both Quest coaches based on the explanation of ideas and information, organization, nonverbal communications (eyes and body), voice, presentation aids, response to audience questions, and team participation.
To meet the Prototype/ Performance objective, your team will need to demonstrate an answer to one of two questions:
(1) What did you make? (2) What did you do?
Your team will need to prepare and deliver a 10-minute presentation that elaborates upon one of the two questions listed above and meets or exceeds each standard on the presentation rubric. Teams that do not receive "At Standard" or "Above Standard" for each of the seven graded categories will need to continue presenting to different Quest classes until two Quest coaches evaluate the team's presentation "At Standard" or "Above Standard". Each Quest coach will need to sign off on the Quest Objective Completion Form. When two different Quest coaches have evaluated your team's presentation at or above each of the seven standards, have your Quest coach sign off your team's progress on the Quest Objective Completion Form.
